Q. Why I should I hire a professional photographer or videographer?
A. Professional photographers & videographers have the necessary skills and experience to take high-quality visuals. They combine their technical knowledge with their artistic sensibilities to create photos or video work that tell a story and capture a moment from a time once lived. With access to high-end equipment and a great understanding of lighting & angles, you are guaranteed quality for your money.
Q. Are you based only in the South of England, or do you travel for work?
A. I’m based in the South of England but regularly travel across the UK and internationally for projects. Whether your shoot is local or overseas, I can bring the same high-quality, creative approach to capture your vision wherever you are.
Q. How much editing is included in your services?
A. All photos and videos are professionally edited to ensure a polished, high-quality finish that aligns with your brand style. This includes colour correction, retouching, and any creative enhancements needed to bring your vision to life. I aim to deliver visuals that are ready to share, without losing their natural and authentic feel.
Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes, I’m insured for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity and can provide a copy of the policy if you would like one.
Q. How long does it take to receive our images?
Turnaround times vary depending on the project, but most image galleries are delivered within 1–2 weeks. For larger projects or those requiring extensive editing, delivery may take longer, and I’ll provide an estimated timeframe during booking. If you need certain images sooner, I also offer a fast-turnaround option for an additional fee.
Q. Will you use any of our images on your website and social media?
A. It’s very helpful for other potential clients to see recent photographs. I use a small selection from some of my wedding day shoots but will obtain your approval before publication.
Q. What happens if the weather isn’t great on the day of our shoot?
A. It really depends on the type of shoot. Many sessions can still produce beautiful results in overcast or rainy conditions, as softer light can be very flattering. For shoots where weather plays a bigger role—such as outdoor lifestyle sessions or drone work—we can discuss backup plans, alternative locations, or rescheduling to make sure you get the best results possible.
Q. What kind of photography and videography services do you offer?
We provide a range of creative services designed to bring your brand, business, or event to life. This includes lifestyle and branding photography, cinematic short-form and long-form videos, event coverage, aerial drone footage, and social media-ready content. Every project is tailored to your vision, ensuring the final visuals are impactful, high-quality, and aligned with your unique story.
Q. Can your services be tailored to our needs?
A. Absolutely. Every project is unique, so I offer flexible services that can be customised to suit your goals, content requirements, and budget. We’ll discuss your vision during our initial consultation and create a package that’s the perfect fit for you.
Q. How will our images be delivered?
A. Your final images will be delivered either through a secure online gallery or via a downloadable link sent through WeTransfer. Both options make it quick and easy for you to access, download, and share your images in high-resolution and web-ready formats, ready for print, social media, or your website.
Q. What is the deposit required to book?
A. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required to secure your booking. This guarantees your date in my calendar and is deducted from the final balance of your project.
Q. Do you use a contract?
A. Yes, a formal agreement helps everyone to understand what is expected of each party.
Q. Are we allowed to share, print, and use our images commercially?
A. You’re welcome to share your final images on social media, your website, and in print for personal use. Commercial usage such as advertising, marketing campaigns, or selling a product or service, requires the purchase of a commercial licence. This ensures the images are licensed for wider business use while protecting the value of the work. We can discuss the licence options during your booking.
Q. How do you prevent technical issues from affecting our shoot?
A. I use professional-grade equipment and always bring backups, including cameras, lenses, memory cards, and batteries, to every shoot. I also store files on multiple devices and back them up as soon as possible after the session to ensure your images and videos are safe. This way, even if unexpected technical issues arise, we can continue shooting without disruption.
Q. What is your refund and cancellation policy?
A. All deposits are non-refundable as they secure your booking and reserve your date. If you need to cancel, any payments made beyond the deposit may be refunded depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made. For cancellations close to the shoot date, the full balance may still be payable. If you wish to reschedule, I’ll do my best to accommodate your new date, subject to availability.
